Potomac Play

With not much running we stayed home and got the gang out for run on the Potomac. Doug Lissa, Justin, Me, Mark and Ben (left to right above) all met at Carderock and headed up to Sandy Beach for a nice leisurely run. We also brought our non-boating roommate, Elizabeth along. We put her in Mark's creek boat (nice and stable) . It was Lissa's first run down the gorge as well and we all had a great time paddling, practicing flatwater carthwheels, swimming and generally goofing off. Not a bad way to spend a hot summer day.
