Toping off the Year

What a fantastic way to finish of the year. No better river to be on than the Top Yough. Mark sweetly agreed to come along and shuttle bunny and i met Joe, Rachel, Jeremy and Scott. Matt and his friends joined us so we had a fair sized group. We did three laps and had a blast. Rachel only joined us for the second run due to lack of sleep and although she walked Swallow Falls and Suck Hole she had a good run. Mark drove back and forth running shuttle for us making things a lot easier.

Part way down Joe informed me that i was ready for the North Fork (Blackwater that is) and probably the Upper. I definitely felt like I'd progressed a lot i n the past year. Going from swimming on the Lower B last January to contemplating running the Upper.

After dinner in Deep Creek with the gang, Mark and i spent New Year's Eve with Scott at his sister's fabulous lake house. Great times!
